Project 01 — Intermediate Survey UTM thickness measurement
Type
Bulk Carrier
Challenge
Intermediate survey requres documented UTM readings accross defined structual members where steel watage must fall within the class allowable limits.
Approach
Exalit.Pro carried out ultrasonic thickness measurements across the structrual sections in Las Palmas Port, producing an approved report to submit to the NKK class.
Result
Survey completed, report accepted by NKK, and class maintained without conditions keeping the vessel on schedule without any operational disrutpions.
Project 02 — Provision Crane, Rescue boat davit & Lifeboat repairs

Container Ship
Challenge
Provision crane reported abnormal operation, noise on hoisting winch and breaker triping under load. Root cause had to be investigated before any repairs could be defined.
Approach
Inspection inenditied a broken break disk and damaged brake coil causing a short. All provision crane electric motors were removed and overhauled, after wich transported back to the vessel and reinstalled. Rescue boat davit was inspected, cabling corrected and limit switches replaced and adjusted.
Result
Provision crane fully operational without any faults observed. Rescue boat davit tested and verified to be operational.
Project 03 — GMDSS Survey and repair

Accomodation Platform
Challenge
Full ABS GMDSS survey requring all safety critical radio equipment to be in compliance, along with scheduled maitenance items including EPRIRB and VDR.
Approach
Complete GMDSS/SLR survey carried out. Expired equipment replacement and full operational check conducted.
Result
ABS survey completed with no reparks. All equipment found in compliance.
