Multi-scope reactivation support: navigation and radar renewal, helideck fuel and foam systems, lighting and deck steel — one coordinated programme.
A stacked drillship was being prepared for a new contract. Several bridge, helideck and deck systems were out of date or out of spares, each with its own OEM, class requirement and lead time, and the owner needed one contractor to hold the engineering, procurement and site sequence together.
The scope was split into work packs — navigation work pack and commissioning, radar system replacement, helifuel system, helideck foam system, deck lighting, deck plate renewal — each with its own material list, method statement and class documentation. A site manager coordinated vendors and the vessel through the reactivation window.
Work packs are being delivered in sequence with commissioning records prepared for class and flag; the programme continues alongside the rig’s contract preparation.
